Bamasish Paul is a senior Investment Professional with a career encompassing over two decades in real estate development, financing and asset management. In his career he has invested and managed assets in excess of US$ 2 Bn across office development, residential, hospitality and Industrial / Warehousing. He is the Managing Partner and founder of Etonhurst Capital Partners responsible for strategy, investment and overall direction of the firm.

Prior to Etonhurst, Bamasish was Senior Vice President Brookfield Asset Management (India); and Managing Director and Country Head of AIG Investments (Formerly AIG Global Real Estate), India. Where he was responsible for leading and managing a billion-dollar investment platform. In his tenure as the Managing Director, Bamashish was responsible in driving AIG’s India strategy for development and acquisition and expanding its investment footprint through large ticket equity partnerships and acquisition. He raised and co-invested LP capital across multiple asset development strategies and steered the fund through tumultuous circumstances led by AIG’s involvement in Global Financial Crisis of 2008.

 

Prior to joining AIG, Bamasish was Vice President, TCG Real Estate one of countries first privately owned cooperate real estate group focused in commercial office and IT Parks Development. The company’s primary focus was to build, develop and own assets for long term to generate yield-based income.

 

He received an MBA Finance from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago.

Tushar Bose
Partner & Head of Investor Relations

Tushar Bose is a finance professional with over a decade of experience in the advisory space. He is the Head of Investor Relations at Etonhurst Capital Partners where he is responsible for all fund-raising activities and managing investor communication and relationships.

Partner & Head of Investor Relations

Tushar Bose is a finance professional with over a decade of experience in the advisory space. He is part of the founding team at Etonhurst Capital Partners and is the Head of Investor Relations responsible for all fund-raising activities, managing investor communication and relationships.

Prior to Etonhurst, Tushar spent his career at CreditCapital Finance Partners, a boutique investment advisory firm that focused on M&A and fund raising for large and mid-sized Indian corporates and later on real estate developers and funds. He was responsible for founding the real estate advisory practice of CreditCapital and became the head of the practice along with being inducted as a Partner in the firm.

Tushar has worked across asset classes in real estate – residential, commercial, retail and warehousing. He has extensive experience in credit as well as equity/JVs and asset sale. He has worked with the majority of private equity firms and lenders active in real estate in India. Tushar’s last 2 deals at CreditCapital, he worked alongside and successfully advised the likes of Blackstone India and Godrej Properties Limited. One of his landmark deals was structuring a joint venture platform for Blackstone’s first investment in warehousing in India.

Tushar studied at Millfield School and the University of Westminster in the UK.

Tapan Bhatt

Principal

Tapan is a senior real estate investment professional with 15 years of global investment experience completing transactions worth over US$ 42 Bn globally. He has a unique blend of work experience in developed (US and UK) and emerging economies (India) in the field of Private Equity, Hedge Fund and Investment Banking industries.

Prior to joining Etonhurst, Tapan founded and launched India’s first dedicated healthcare infrastructure fund. Before that, Tapan was Vice President – Investments ICICI Venture Fund Management in Mumbai, where he invested in 5 out of 8 new transactions done from the firm’s second RE Fund. He managed and profitably exited 6 investments in the legacy first Fund.

 

Previously Tapan was with Darwin Group in London, a Turnaround Real Estate Private Equity Firm. He was part of the team that acquired and turned around operations of holiday parks in the UK. He also led fund raising and investor relations effort for the Firm.

Prior to that he was with Mercury Partners LLC in Greenwich USA, a Real Estate Hedge Fund & Private Equity Firm. His role was primary coverage for real estate markets of India, Australia, Vietnam, Turkey and Russia as well as US healthcare, industrial and net lease REITs. He spearheaded the firm’s foray into the Private Equity business.

Tapan started his career at Bank of America in New York, part of the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking team. He was a top-of-the-class analyst and worked on 8 marquee transactions for the firm. He was part of the team that advised Blackstone on its acquisition of Equity Office Properties Trust, then the largest LBO and CMBS financed deal.

 

Tapan graduated from Rutgers University, USA and has also received an MBA in finance from the London Business School.

Ronak Thakkar

Associate

Ronak Thakkar has over 6 years of experience in real estate investments, investment banking and research. He has been involved in fund raising and the management of a slum project. Ronak has completed his MBA in finance from the University of Mumbai.

Ronak Thakkar has over 6 years of experience in real estate investments, investment banking and research.

Prior to joining Etonhurst, Ronak worked with Wealthkraft Investments an investment & advisory firm. Ronak was working in a team focused on providing solutions to developers by various means like joint ventures, asset sale, structured funding along with making investments through private finance.

Before that he joined the real estate arm of Swan Energy, a public listed company, in the strategy team heading the west India region, where he was responsible for acquisition of new projects and investments of the company to grow their residential development portfolio.

Ronak started his career in real estate with Brvima Capital Advisory, a boutique real estate focused advisory firm, where has was responsible fund raising & management of a slum project.

His detailed approach and understanding on the Development Control Regulations rules of Mumbai have helped him grow in the field of Real Estate. His understanding of the developers need coupled with deep insights in analyzing, structuring and negotiating complex transactions in real estate are a few of his strengths.

Ronak has completed his MBA in finance from the University of Mumbai.

Analyst

Anshul has three years of work experience, most recently with the investment banking division at Bank of America, supporting the Australian M&A desk. He covered cross sector coverage of the APAC region across TMT, BFSI (including fintech), real estate and natural resources.

Anshul has three years of work experience, most recently with the investment banking division at Bank of America, supporting the Australian M&A desk. He covered cross sector coverage of the APAC region across TMT, BFSI (including fintech), real estate and natural resources. Specifically in Telecom and Real Estate transactions, he assisted in Singtel’s acquisition of an MVNO operator, and was responsible for identifying real estate targets and tracking WACR movements. He also assisted on an ongoing defence advisory mandate of an Australian Investment Manager. He has also worked at ICICI Securities and HSBC Commercial Banking.

Anshul holds a PGDM and is also a Chartered Accountant.

Alhadi Alwazir

Non-Executive Partner

Alhadi advises the Etonhurst team across key business initiatives and areas opportune for deployment of the firm’s strategy. Currently, he is a Partner at Bio-nAbler, a life-science investment and advisory firm and is also the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Corporate Development of Nexa bio, a private equity backed specialty pharma buy and build program. He has spent the last twenty years focused on alternative investments in private equity with a focus on life sciences, infrastructure and real estate.

 

Prior to Bio-nAbler, Alhadi was a Partner in Eastgate Capital Group’s private equity and real estate practice, where he led initiatives in healthcare, infrastructure, and real estate, both credit and equity investing nearly US$1.10 billion across eight transactions. Just prior to the formation of Eastgate, where he was employee number two, Alhadi worked at the NCB’s Capital Markets Group, where he was responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and structuring select private equity investments, typically anchor investments with general partners.

 

Before joining NCB, Alhadi was SVP and Director at Iron Gate Partners, a private investment group with offices in Washington DC and London, before working at Iron Gate, Alhadi was a Financial Engineer at Société Générale with the Derivative and Financial Products Group in New York City. Alhadi’s first job was at STX Hughes on the Solar Maximum Mission Project at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Centre.

 

Alhadi holds a BSc degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, where he received several Scholarships and Achievement Awards and an MBA from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business.

Udayan Bose

Former Founder & Chairman Lazard, India (India’s very first Investment Bank in partnership with Lazard Frérés of UK). Udayan was a Global Partner of Lazard Group & Group Managing Director of Lazard Ltd London for Asia.

In 2005, he set up a USD $2 Bn fund called Dubai Financial Group for the Royal Family Office, which acquired strategic stakes in Banks.

Udayan Bose

Former Founder & Chairman Lazard India (India’s first Investment Bank in partnership with Lazard Frérés of UK). Udayan was a Global Partner of Lazard Group & Group Managing Director of Lazard Ltd London for Asia. In 2005 set up a USD $2 Bn fund called Dubai Financial Group for the Royal Family Office, which acquired strategic stakes in Banks.

 

He was also senior Adviser to Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) and was responsible for the Bank’s activities in India (1986 till 1997). He set up India’s first venture capital in 1989 called CVF with Bank of India, IFC Washington, Asian Development Bank & CDC UK. In 1995 set up Lazard Birla India Investment Fund and raised a significant corpus from investors including Harvard Endowment Fund. Around the same time, he also set up one of India’s first private mutual funds. Before that he established Deutsche Bank in India in 1980 and was the Regional Director (1980-84), responsible for South Asia.

Bracken is Managing Director of Atlantic Pacific Capital responsible for the Middle East. He works closely with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, family offices, endowments and public and private pensions. Prior to Atlantic-Pacific, he was Managing Director and Head of Europe & the Middle East for Probitas Partners.

Bracken White

Bracken is Managing Director of Atlantic Pacific Capital responsible for the Middle East. He works closely with institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, family offices, endowments and public and private pensions. Prior to Atlantic-Pacific, he was Managing Director and Head of Europe & the Middle East for Probitas Partners. Previously, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Makan Capital Group, a Middle East based family office. Before that, was Managing Director at Molinaro Koger, where he established their equity capital market practice.

Bracken earned an MBA from Yale University where he was a Teaching Assistant in Real Estate Finance and Accounting. He is also a CFA® charter holder and a non-executive partner in Forty Six North Advisors, a boutique real estate firm he co-founded.

Rajesh Srivastava

Rajesh is Chairman & Managing Director of Rabo Equity Advisors and is a designated General Partner in the Fund along with Rabobank. Currently managing two Rabobank sponsored private equity funds, focused on food and agribusiness.

Rajesh is Chairman & Managing Director of Rabo Equity Advisors and is a designated General Partner in the Fund along with Rabobank. Currently managing 2 Rabobank sponsored private equity funds focused on food and agribusiness. Before setting up the private equity business, he was Managing Director (Corporate & Commercial Banking) of Rabobank India and concurrently, he was Regional Head, Asia for food and agribusiness for over 5 years based in Singapore. In Rabobank, he is credited with setting up new products like Strategic Advisory, Renewable Energy, Carbon Credits & Micro Finance. Before Rabobank, he was with Lazard Brothers’ Venture Capital arm where he set up the largest VC Fund at the time for SMEs. He has over 36 years of experience in corporate and investment banking.

He is an Economics and Law graduate and has a post graduate in Western History.
